When you live and work in the “Air Capital of the World,” there is pretty much always a need for a nut, a bolt or a screw. At least that’s what Bill Crow thought when he started his own company, Midwest Fastener Supply, Inc., in 1973. He knew the demand would be great for the kind of fasteners that held aircraft together and the fact that here we are still here today is a testament to his vision.
Bill owned and operated the company until the early 1990s. When he retired, he sold the company to his youngest daughter and her husband, Jay Patterson. Jay lead the company from the time it was purchased until December of 2013, when he passed the title of President down to his youngest daughter and Bill’s granddaughter, Anastasia Pike, who runs it today.
